Run it

Python 3.10+. The first run downloads the model's adapter, asks before installing PyTorch and the model's own packages (-y installs without asking) and pulls the pretrained weights from Hugging Face. --input sample runs the sample input pfnstudio ships and prints its path: copy it, put your data in, and pass it as <your file>. Later runs reuse the cache.

A ready-to-use forecasting model you can point at your own history — it predicts the next steps of sales, demand or any metric, with a range, without training a model.
Timestral (Mistral AI, 2026) is a family of time-series foundation models for zero-shot probabilistic forecasting; this listing serves the 209M model (HF mistralai/Timestral-209M) through the upstream timestral package and returns a median forecast with a 10–90% range. Weights license: Mistral AI's Modified MIT License — free to use, including commercially, with the attribution notice "2026 - Mistral AI", except that companies (or a user's employer) with more than $20 million global monthly revenue have no rights under it and need a commercial license from Mistral AI.
