Chronos-2 — Time-Series Forecasting
Amazon's forecasting foundation model · test it on your series
Choose this to forecast your own time series without training, using Amazon's Chronos-2. Inference-only.
Run it
$ pip install pfnstudio
$ pfnstudio run chronos-2 --input <your file>
# ex:
$ pfnstudio run chronos-2 --input sample
# download it without running · its tasks, inputs, license and digest
$ pfnstudio pull chronos-2
$ pfnstudio show chronos-2
# models loaded now · delete it from this machine
$ pfnstudio ps
$ pfnstudio rm chronos-2
Python 3.10+. The first run downloads the model's adapter, asks before installing PyTorch and the model's own packages (-y installs without asking) and pulls the pretrained weights from Hugging Face. --input sample runs the sample input pfnstudio ships and prints its path: copy it, put your data in, and pass it as <your file>. Later runs reuse the cache.

A ready-to-use forecasting model you can point at your own history — it predicts the next steps of sales, demand or any metric, with a range, without training a model.
Chronos-2 (Amazon) is a 120M-parameter encoder-only transformer for zero-shot probabilistic forecasting of one or many series, with past and known-future covariates. This listing installs the real pretrained weights (HF amazon/chronos-2) as an inference-only base model, served through the upstream chronos-forecasting package; it returns a median forecast with a 10–90% range.
